City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments #4) by Cassandra Clare

My Rating: 5 stars out of 5

Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult

After reading this, I just wanted to keep it simple by saying: THIS IS A MUST READ SERIES.

Seriously, I have no idea how I managed to not read this series since it came out. And it has been a few years! Like where the heck was I? I feel like I have missed out on soooo much.

This just shows how frikking brilliant The Mortal Instruments is.

I LOVE Jace.
I never knew he could be so vulnerable and broken as we were shown in this book. He usually comes across as this strong person which nothing can shake but I guess I was wrong. His humour, easy going nature gets lost somehow amidst all the drama and chaos his life is. I loved how strong Clary was through it all, enough for the both of them.

I’m not going to rant on with any more details except that it was pretty rad. The whole biblical sense of it really takes heed in this one, sort of reminds me of Supernatual (the tv show).

So bottom line is, MUST READ.
