My Rating: 4 stars out of 5
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Seeds of iniquity, you have left me speechless! I have no idea where to start!
This is one of my favourite series. I fell in love with book one right at the time when I was getting in to this whole suspense/ romance genre so this series is pretty special to me. I love it’s concept, getting hooked on to all the action scenes and wondering what else could possibly happen in the company of killers. This book certainly delivered!
We have a new member ladies and gentlemen, Nora. She’s manipulative, a pro at getting information out of people and pretty much the perfect killer within all of them. I honestly hated her throughout most of the book because of all the things that went wrong because of her. But then she kind of grew on me yet still, I sense she may just be a little destructive in the near future.
I was so happy to get reacquainted with Izabel and Victor. Them two are the dream team, the ultimate favourite couple and boy do I love Victor. This story is not your average tale, nor your typical romance. I think that is one of the reasons why I love it so much. Victor and Izabel don’t spend their couple time saying nice words to each other. Nor is their relationship much like a normal one. Living the life they have, there’s not much room for being cheesy. Instead it’s more about the missions they are going to undertake, it’s very much not romantic. But the love is still there, and it’s pretty damn strong. And did i mention they’re on my favourite couple list?
And I got to meet my Fredrik again! Boy does my heart break for him. The last book was complete with his pain but I hope he can be happy again, because I never really liked or cared for Seraphina. He does deserve better and I hope we get to see him with that better. I just hope their organization stays in tact and all the members not there towards the end, make a return in the next book!
Overall, the writing and plot has been phenomenal. The secrets, Nora and her games, the relationship that Victor and Izabel possess, each and everything is what made this book so bloody good. It’s really difficult to go into detail about the plot because it truly is the plot that is the books greatest strength. I just hope the next book comes out real soon!
