My Rating: 4 stars out of 5

Dante Alighieri said, in his Inferno:
“Do not be afraid; our fate cannot be taken from us; it is a gift.”
Our fate must be worked for.
It must be paid for.
With everything we have.
And it is not until the end, the very end, that we will know if it was worth it.
I honestly have no idea what to say or where to start because my mind is on a trip from this book.
What just happened?
I don’t understand I am so confused, hence my lack of words in this review.
I don’t think it’s fair to talk much about the storyline because it really is ‘one of those’ in which one must not discuss the story with a reader who hasn’t read the book yet.
Honestly, if you’re looking for a good mind trip, this book should be on your list. I couldn’t stop reading because the story had me hooked due to it’s mystery. It’s one I enjoyed completely due to it’s mysterious factor. I am at the point where I’m questioning what I know of this story. From beginning to end this book has you on edge with a million different questions and yet none of them prepare you for what actually comes. The author has the most amazing imagination. AMAZING I TELL YOU.
However, I don’t know why but it seemed lacking in comparison to the first part in this series. Not in terms of story. But just something about it didn’t quite live up to it. It may be that the writing became a little too confusing for me to handle. Some information about the relation between Calla’s and Dare’s family jumped out of nowhere as well.
STILL, I absolutely cannot wait to find out what happens next. I need answers and I need them now! This book is a mindfuck, inside of a mindfuck inside of another mind fuck. Can it be October already?
