Book Review: Cleat Chaser by Celia Aaron and Sloane Howell

My Rating: 4 stars out of 5

Genre: Contemporary, Erotica

My very first book of both these authors and I can say I had fun with it. I’m going to keep this short and simple.

This book is a great light read perfect for busy periods of my life like this. It made me laugh with all its strange humour. They all gave each other crap all the time and gosh I loved the banter. There was a lot of weirdness provided by the side characters, it all made for a full on entertaining book though. Gosh I couldn’t handle hearing the comments that flew out of their mouths.

Kyrie is a girl who’s too caught up in her work and doesn’t seek the time for relationships because of a bad relationship experience she had a few years back. She doesn’t even want to think about seeing a baseball player. In comes Easton; Kyrie’s friends boyfriends friend. He does a lot of chasing but Kyrie just doesn’t want to experience the wondering about where he’s been that comes with dating a baseball player.

The scenes were rather hot, and the romance swoon-worthy. Easton is truly magical and the perfect dirty talker. Gotta love a baseball player right?

This was an enjoyable read for me overall, I loved getting to know these characters and I wished it was a little longer though. I will be reading more from both these authors.
