Omg this book was everything.

I will forever be obsessed with this series and I hope it never ends, as the author slightly hinted at the end of the book, I have many MANY more to look forward to.

We all love Victor. In this book we get to see his story, see his secrets and learn of his past which I’m sure many of us have been dying to know. It all comes out in the open.  But we must forgive him ladies, we cannot, must not judge him. He has his reasons for his actions and the choices he makes.

“I love you,” he says, “but I can never change who I am for you.” That didn’t sting- it gutted me. “And I was a fool to ever consider it. Changing is impossible. I know that all along, but in doing so I got myself in tight situations.

The book starts off where the last one finished, Victor and Izabel are going on a vacation. But Victor can’t stay away from work for so long. In this book Izabel is forced to see whether Victor is really the man she makes him out to be or could she be wrong about him? Does he have any redeeming qualities after all is out in the open? Victor is trying though, that is clear to see. But things go south as soon as he open his mouth.

This book makes me love Izabel even more. She is powerful, independent and the best part is, even after loving Victor knowing everything he’s done, it doesn’t make her any less powerful. It actually makes her even stronger. I love how she is by his side completely. I live for these kind of heroines.

I sincerely hope we will not have to wait longer than 6 months for the next book because I need my fix now! One of the best series I have ever read by one of the best writers in this day.

I look at those hands. I look at them, long and hard and symbolically, because in my heart I know they’re the hands that will end my life before this night is over.
