Stylo Fantome is one of my favourite authors ever and I don’t think I’m biased towards her books, but they are just always so damn good. I loved this story and the characters.
The story is about a woman named Katya who lives and breathes rules and morals. But it does get to a point when you want to try new things, especially when you haven’t all your life. That is exactly what she goes out and does. After her friend makes her a dating profile with a few extra details on strip aerobics, she is approached by none other than her Neighbor Liam. They then become good friends with benefits. But she is also dating another guy, her neighbor from her childhood. And things are obviously going to get complicated when two guys are involved!
This isn’t a cheating book at all. Both the men know that she is seeing both of them at the same time. It is also what makes it unique and one of the reasons why I liked it. I liked how Katya embraced new paths and it wasn’t in any way slut shaming. I loved how she was a woman who felt empowered walking on a path when it’s only usually considered ok for men to do. She definitely should accept herself for who she is though and I hope she discovers that in the next book! Because it is totally okay to be beige and boring and it’s also okay to be wild.
It’s hard to pick a favourite from Liam and Wulf. They both had unique qualities. Liam was this super friendly guy who’s always a laugh to be around. Wulf is the kind of man you’re attracted to even though you know he might not be the best for you. He’s brooding, he’s handsome he reeks of alpha. Wulf is also going through a lot of his own “growing up” and coming out of his shell. It’s great to watch characters just trying to figure out who to be because I think if you’re going through anything similar it can be really helpful to read about.
He hadn’t caught on to the little fact that all he had to do was say jump, and she would say how high. How many feet. Would he like a sandwich while she was at it?
This book was super hot. I’m all for the smut talk. The scenes were on fire and it was an added bonus along with the excellent story line. I need MORE. I need to know what happens to this trio! You have once again blown me the fuck away Stylo! I LOVED EVERYTHING.
