I am having such good luck with books lately. I can tell 2017 is going to be an amazing year in books. This is, hands down, one of the best works of Pepper Winters so far!

It had the perfect blend of suspense and chemistry. It was presented in such a way which made it impossible for me to stop reading. I was hooked! It was definitely the writing. The detail of each scene, the feelings it invoked… all thanks to the beautiful words Pepper wrote.

I had my doubts in the beginning. I thought it was going to be slow due to how long the scenes were stretched out. But, that thought wore off quickly due the constant mystery surrounding one particular character. You can just feel the tension building and you know shit is going to go down in the end.

Noelle has been brought up to only talk business language. Her father has trained her from the very beginning in being CEO and running his very huge company. Noelle doesn’t have any other life apart from work. No friend, no significant other. She did once meet a Nameless man who she shared a life changing experience with. But since then, she has been on her own.

”You don’t even know me.”
He placed a whisper-kiss on my mouth. “I don’t have to know you. I feel you.”

Then she happens to meet Penn. A man who threatens to bring a little fun into her life. He is different to what Noelle is used to. But the chemistry is too insane to deny. But who is he really? What is he hiding? There’s so much about him that remains a mystery for Noelle.

I do believe this is a little bit different than other Pepper stories. Not in a bad way at all, it just isn’t surrounded with her usual ‘dark’ theme. I like this new side too. The storyline was rather unique too. It has brought something new to the romance world and I absolutely cannot wait to read the next book.
